Strategic Direction & Policy-Advocacy Leadership
  • Help recruit and facilitate leadership teams to participate in one- and 5-year strategic planning for the organization’s mission and vision
  • Lead the implementation of a by-law development and revision process that is informed and led by the organization’s members
  • Cultivate and support relationships with strategic partners and coalitions on behalf of the organization
Fundraising & Donor/Funder Development
  • Raise funds for the organization through grant writing, building and strengthening relationships with key funders and donors, presenting to funders, and tracking those relationships
  • Conduct grant reporting and submit reports on awards and contracts related to the organization’s activities
Network Development & Support
  • Build and strengthen relationships with the organization’s new and existing members
  • Correspond with individuals interested in joining the Board
  • Develop and support a strong volunteer and/or staff team for the organization’s programming
  • Support relationship-building for members through the planning and coordination of activities, dinners and potlucks, retreats, and trainings
Executive Support
  • Guidance and support for Executive Directors
  • Staff onboarding, development & training
  • Policy creation and enactment with leadership, staff & directors to ensure mission-driven goals are met
