Empty Bowls Fundraising Dinner: February 24, 2024

In partnership with Feed Buffalo and Wegmans, the Buffalo AKG is proud to host an Empty Bowls fundraising dinner to help fight food insecurity in Buffalo, New York. Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to raise awareness of and combat food scarcity. All of the proceeds from this year’s event go to Feed Buffalo–one of MEL’s original non profit partners–which provides access to locally sourced, organic, and halal food with dignity. Attendees will take home a unique handmade ceramic bowl created by AKG staff and members of the community—each bowl represents empty stomachs and our desire to fill them.
