Enviro-Lit Reading Lists 2022

The Enviro-Lit recommended reading resource has been crafted with you and your children in mind. Interdisciplinary and justice oriented, these pages contain seedlings of ideas for you to grow. We have designed each to be accessible and useful. Goals for this particular reading list are to promote Great Lakes literacy and learning, as well as to help build an appreciation of stewardship toward the Great Lakes and the natural resources that sustain our lives on Earth. These high quality, well-crafted texts and teaching resources can easily supplement in-person instruction and/or remote learning experiences. Each list contains a series of selected books, activities, and read-alouds to engage young readers alongside purchasing links and publishing information.
